I emailed the New Media guy over there to see what the deal with this release was and he hit me back with this blurb:
Kalinich, as you certainly know was a good friend of The Beach Boys that wrote lyrics on several Beach Boys albums as well as Dennis Wilson's Pacific Ocean Blue. What few know is that in 1969, Wilson and Kalinich recorded, over the course of one night, a Wilson-produced album featuring the lyrics of Kalinich, that until now has never been heard. Featuring the sparse production of Wilson (including one song recorded in a bath tub), the album is a politically charged look at the US of A in the late 1960s. It's a must for true Beach Boy fans.
