BTW - the show was a great way to spend a summer evening! Sound check was real work for the guys and then the show was performed at warp speed because of incoming foul weather! Seriously - they got thru one encore song and Al announced they were being asked to leave the stage because of weather - but the ground crew let them do the second song and then encouraged everyone to split! Al hung for a few minutes to try to chat with as many fans as he could [wonder if the follically challenged chap who spoke with Al was Dauber] and hand out some guitar picks. I headed for the exit and safety of my car ad got to walk with Matt J, Gary G and guess who - Chris Farmer! What a surprise it was to see him on stage! wished him luck with his future projects and some down time in Michigan this summer - and he will take back my regards to Mike Kowalski!
